When I heard that Danielle, a 2000 ISCF participant, is lock in friends with Kazumi, her host sister, and has decided to study abroad in Japan to see her again, I was astounded and inspired by the positive degree and permanent impact of international exchange programs. My commitment to Japanese culture reached a new level when I became the 2007 blue California Cherry Blossom Queen.
