Appeal

I am writing this letter in rear to appeal the rejection letter I received on declination 12, 2011.

I lived with my aunt and grandmother, off and on, for most of my earlier years. The resultant of my eight grade year my mother started doing go bad and intractable it was time for me to move back with her, in Louisiana. I lastly developed a relationship with my older brother and this was something I always desired. My brother wasnt the best kid, solely he last made a turn in his deportment and started doing positive things. He wanted to make a better demeanor for himself and he encouraged me with the same ideas. Unfortunately, his life was taken, callable to foolishness. I will never for fall the phone call, it merely didnt seem real. The dream that I prayed for years was finally reality, but by the act of violence that dream became a nightmare. I had never experienced this type of hurt, losing a sib or anyone close to me, before this. I was devastated. I illogical interest in everything I so once yearned for, which was college and hoops. I transferred schools, three times and my grades dropped tremendously. I opinionated to seek concern and I attained a part-time job at Popeyes, which as time went by as being a full-time.



I put my education on the back burner, but thanks to God and the guidance of my aunt and my mother, is when I decided to make a change. My grades improved extremely and I was acknowledge for that accomplishment, in my 11th grade year.

The past year and ½ of life has bestowed in me an enormous vision of my future. The University of Houston offers a large student body with diverse likes and dislikes, and several activities, both, academic and non-academic, to participate in and I see myself sharing that with the student body. I prolong already attended several football games, and a basketball game this season and I felt as though I fit right in. I also toured the campus and I envisioned that being my future resident.
