My Trip to Pakistan It was 1st of March 2003 when my ex boyfriend and I took off for Karachi, Pakistan. We had stay in Galway the iniquity before and we were travelling to Shannon Airport early the next morning, which was on a lowly over an hours drive from where we were staying. Our flight was out-of-pocket to depart the aerodrome at 10.15am and we were to be there to check in both hours in advance. We left Galway at 8am and began the beginning of our long journey. As we were coming into Co. Clare the was a delay on the road due to road works and an accident that was on the road from the night before and this was taking up allot of our time. We began to worry if we would be too fresh for our flight so we rang the Royal Jordanian office in Shannon Airport and told them our situation and they had told us that it was to late now to check in, at that point we were genuinely heavyhearted and disappointed but we still made for the airport. As we pulled up to the airport there was a porter at the ingress and he came up to us where we had parked and told us to rushing up that they had delayed the flight for us, so we parked the simple machine and checked in and by the time we made it to the shroud it was exactly 10.15am when we entered. By that time we were literally exhausted no mind the next 12 hours we were going to spend on the plane.

As the plane took off we were thanking God that everything had went well for us so far and that the crew on the plane were very helpful. As I looked around the plane I couldnt help but nonice all the people on the plane travelling to different Muslim countries such as Dubai, Jordan and the final destination Karachi, Pakistan where we were off to. I entangle peculiar as I think I was the only soulfulness from the western society that was on the plane and I felt as if everyone was looking at me and wondering what I was doing on the plane!
