This research is aiming to identify the competitiveness and crop strategies of port of capital of Singapore in response to the rising of sort of Shanghai. Hence, this research provide provide a research background of the current container behavior and terminal situation. The strong competition between the ports drives each estate to have reinforced their growth strategies and competitiveness plan. Since 2005, Singapore was class-conscious as number one container port in the world. However, Port of Singapore faced the rapid growth of Port of Shanghai. Port of Shanghai is achieving an average of twenty percent of the total container throughput growth annually.
